About John Henry Folley
John Folley is a New England-based independent artist. He received his B.A. in Studio Art and Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame and was subsequently employed as the Art Department Chair and Art Instructor at the Heights School outside of Washington, D.C. In 2018, he concluded instruction in the Boston School of Painting with the master artist Paul Ingbretson. John paints in oil to render beautiful still life paintings, portraits, and sacred subjects. John is Visiting Fellow and Art Guild Master at the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in Merrimack, NH.
His studio is on the historic town green in Lancaster, Massachusetts, where he also resides with his wife and studio manager, Deirdre, and their four young children.
