About John Henry FolleyJohn Folley is a New England-based independent artist and event painter. He received his B.A. in Studio Art and Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame and was subsequently employed as the Art Department Chair and Art Instructor at the Heights School outside of Washington, D.C. In 2018, he concluded instruction in the Boston School of Painting with the master artist Paul Ingbretson. John paints in oil to render beautiful still life paintings, portraits, and sacred subjects. Read about his motivations in his artist statement and also in his blog post, Why I Left. John was Visiting Fellow and Art Guild Master at the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in Merrimack, NH. His studio is on the historic town green in Lancaster, Massachusetts. John resides nearby with his wife and studio manager, Deirdre, and their six young children.
